We are excited to announce our Small Farmers, Big Taste! competition where we are giving away three luxury weekend breaks to some of our favourite countryside locations: Cumbria, Staffordshire and the North East.

Our lucky winners will be whisked away to one of our carefully selected hotels, nestled in the British countryside, all of which have stunning views. They’ll then get to dine in a Michelin starred restaurant (the big taste element) and receive the unique opportunity to visit a farm run by one of our farmer friends. If that wasn’t enough we’ll also be including travel costs and a spa treatment!

Our North East winners will stay at Rockliffe Hall, a superbly restored 18th century estate that features some superb spa facilities. In addition to experiencing two of their award winning restaurants our winners will dine at the Michelin stared Raby Hunt restaurant, where they can experience exceptional fine dining featuring fantastic local ingredients. To complete the prize our winners will also receive a tour around Neasham Grange, home to Robin Hirst and his beautiful herd of cattle.

Our Cumbrian winners will get to stay at The Samling, famed for its breath taking surroundings and sumptuous and indulgent luxury. Recently named the best dining hotel in the world our Cumbrian winners will sample The Samling’s delectable menu as well as experiencing Michelin star dining at Holbeck Ghyll who use the finest local ingredients to make mouth watering dishes. To top the prize off our lucky winners will also visit Heaves Farm home to the Mason family, and learn about the exemplary welfare standards they use in producing their Rosé Veal.

Our Staffordshire winners will stay at Hoar Cross Hall, a stunning grade II listed building, nestled in the National Forest, where they can make use of the state of the art spa facilities. As well as experiencing their mouth watering menu of truly tempting dishes our Staffordshire winners will also receive a Michelin starred dining experience at the critically acclaimed Purnells restaurant to sample their bold and innovative cooking. The prize would not be complete without a visit to Blakenhall farm, home to our chicken farmer Alec Mercer to see what makes his free range chicken so great.
